The Golden Rule

I know its hard to live by but we should always try. I will be the first to admit that i dont always treat ppl the way i want to be treated but i do my best...... sometimes. The golden rule is universal it applies to everyone. it is a basic but important principal. we should treat everyone with the same respect that we want weather they deserve it or not. alot of ppl are hard to love but if we can focus on one good quality that they have it would make it easier. treating someone the way you want to be treated doesnt apply to just one person. what i mean is if you treat one person badly it may not be that person that treats you badly and the same goes for someone you treat nicely. its a big circle. the circle of life hahah lol but seriously if you treat one person with kindness they will show kindness to another person and it will keep going till it comes back to you.

Reading Rainbow

i used to love that show i wish it still came on. i never really liked reading but it kind of grew on me. i was in seventh grade when the "reading bug" hit me i would spend a lot of my morning reading in the library before school. i found reading as a way to escape, now i know you're not supposed to try and escape your problems but we all need a refuge. it was nice to go to a totally new world disguised within the pages of a book. some one once asked me why i read so much fantasy and my answer was reality ainght all that great and sometimes its not there are alot of cool books out there i guess the down side is finding them as always what do you think comment please

keep your guard up

at this age we are all impressionable so i just wanted to emphasize that we should keep our guard up so that we dont lose our innocence to fast or to soon thats all comment peopl please

COEXIST

i go to church every Saturday, well almost every Saturday and it seems to be the most peaceful day of the week. as i have studied in whatever religion you are the day of rest is for just that rest. a time when there is no work or worry and it is just you and God. there are a lot of religions out there that i cant even begin to comprehend but there seems to be a center focus rest and commune with God. my favorite bumper sticker of all time is the COEXIST one that has the signs of the different religions spelled in to it. Why cant we coexist why cant we focus on the commonality rather than the differences? focusing on the differences causes war and conflict. Why cant we just coexist? comment tell me about your religion and what you think about the topic and please no one be rude

Time

Our time is one of the main things we cannot get back after we spend it. How do you spend your time day to day? r u doing things that benefit others are you doing things to benefit yourself. do you have fun in your spare time? do you take time just for you and God? do you take a minute to just breathe and think about you? your time is a prescuios thing you cant get it back once its gone. and as kids or teens i should say we have a lot of time it doesnt always seem like it but those moments when you r bored out of your mind because you dont have anything to do thats time. you can give away your time or keep your time. but there should always be a balance . you cant stay up all night get up in the morning and expect to be all perky, no then that time will be spent with your head on a desk drooling in your sleep as people take pictures of you and put them on facebook. there should be a time for everything. i am not saying that you need to have every moment of your life planned out so that you never waste time, by all means waste time. sit and stare at the wall just because you want to, sit in a tree and think about the movie you just saw. i am not exactly sure what my point is but i guess its to use your time . so as always what do you think. comment people say something 

Good Morning

well its been raining all weekend here so the sun isnt exactly shining all that brightly. anyway this weekend i spent a lot of time with my family and i had a great time. the best thing with my family is that whenever we get together there is food and its good food. while me and the "grown ups" were in the living room talking the smaller kids were in another room looking at Karate Kid with Jaden Smith. that movie was pretty good for a remake i must say. but anyway we were talking about colleges and jobs. since both my mom my aunt and her husband and their friend all went to the same college they had a lot to say about it. i wont say the name of the college but they werent exactly full of school spirit talking to me about it. they also said in going to that college they werent really prepared for life outside of college. sure they were taught the fundamentals in class but when it came to getting experience and getting a job and living in the business world they didnt know what they were doing. thank goodness that now they are all on the road to success. but it got me wondering where i want to go to college.

do i want to go to an ivy league school, do i want to go to a local college? what would be best for me? i want to be prepared when i get to college and when i get out of college. i want to do great things. so its time for me to step up my game and get to work. i need to at least think about what i want. and i hope u guys will to. so tell me, do you have any colleges in mind, do you know what you want to be when you get out of college? comment people i need feedback and think about it

The Declaration

The Declaration of Independence is one of the most important documents in America. Its is another representation of America. "we hold these truthes to be self evident that all men are created equal" do we still stand by these principles as people, as a country. We r in two countries fighting a costly and sadening war we r now entering a third. there r people that cant get a job because of their race, creed, and gender. Women r apart of this country to. i was just thinking if we r to be the example of a great nation as free and full of opportunity maybe we need to take another look. i know it is not easy to get change but i do think that we should try. America is a great country that doesnt mean we cant improve. there is always room for improvement. What do you think ? talk to me

my idea

this generation is very talented but in my opinion we have let our creativity be stripped away from us. i just had  pretty goo idea that i thought would help me out and my mom told me to draw it up and patend it so i could make some money of of it. there is more out there than just being famous. well let me rephrase that u can be famous in a different way. the next idea u have share it get someones opinion write it down make an effort to make that thought a reality get up and do something dont just do what u see on tv  but i wont dispute that tv can be a form of inspiration. but anyway try things out you'll never know till you try. and when someone tells you an idea try to be kind and listen to it offer your honest opinion in a nice way

The rift: Parent v.s Child

what is your  relationship like with your parents? is it strained ? are the constatly complaining about everything that u do? i just had an epiphany i need to go to tiffany's .....jk but seriously most parents work hard all day and come home and go to there rooms all tired and worn out and when we get home from school  were tired and worn out and mostly all we want to do is go take a nap wake up and eat dinner then go back to bed mostly as i have observed we go through this pattern for about 3 years and then when parents realize that they have missed 3 years of or lives they are all up in our lives

OR is it that we distance ourselves on purpose do we just not want our parents in our lives.with our social life and friends do we have time to spend qualitiy time with our parents. except for at dinner and even then most of us at least me, eat dinner in front of the tv or alone. do we not want our parents to know what is going on in our lives for a sense of privacy, for the dramatic effect or for the secret attention.

What is it that causes the rift between parent and child? because personally my relationship with my mom is pretty good . so what is your relationship with your parents like? and what do you think causes the fueds and stomping and yelling and the slamming of the doors between parent and child?

The Notebook

OMJELLO this book was so sad and moving and touching and lovely i didnt know what to do. i still havent looked at the movie but i finaly read the book. The Notebook, i totally loved it i cant believe that that book had such an impact on me. as some of u know i went to florida so i read the book on the way there and once i started i didnt stop ( it took me 4 hours to read the entire book). i love Nicholas sparks and how in all the story i have heard by him they all start with a summer romance. there is just something magical about a summer romance i havent had one...... yet, but i love the the thought of it. i have also noticed that in stories by Nicholas Sparks there is usually a soldier some where in the mix.

Noah and Allie's love for each other is so inspirational and i hope everyone gets to experience something like it. At the end when he was finished reading the notebook and i understood what was happening and why he was reading to that lady i was shocked i saw flashes of what there life would have been if Allie and Noah had gotten together and then it all clicked when he didnt say his real name. that moment must have been so hard for him everyday must have been hard for him but he did it in the hope that his love could concure all the hurt and dispair that was his everyday life. and at the end of that day when she said his name i could almost feel how happy Noah was and then just like that she forgot him again. My favorite part is after Noah returns from the hospital and is trying to get to Allie's room and he describes himself as a thief in the night, and when he finally gets there all for one kiss and how it was all worth it in the end. the end of the book was a little nasty but still sweet, i personally dont think seeing two 80 year olds french kiss is something i ever want to see lol
i just cant wait to see the movie..    so have u read the book ? what do you think? who would u have chosen if u were Allie?

What happened?

sorry i havent posted in a while i went to the happiest place on earth thats right Disney World of Orlando Florida. i had a great  time this was my third time going so i was almost familiar with the area but this time we stayed at the Magic kingdom resort the grand floridian. the resort was amazing they had great service and our room had an amazing view of the lake and the castle in magic kingdom it was truly magical. there were hidden disney  characters everywhere in the hotel even in the bathroom and every night they turned down the beds and left a piece of chocolate by your pillow. i had a blast and the parks were great too i think my favorite is epcot i love the circle of countries but my absolute fav. thing is the light show its like it gets better every time i go. and the best ride is test track. the very best ride in Disney is space mountain but splash mountain is next in line. whats ur favorite ride? i have a question is hollywood studios officially a part of Disney World? because the rockin rollercoaster there is awsome 2 and the twilight zone is serious and i went twice in a row..... i wasnt particularly hungry after that ride. so as always tell me what ur thinkin plz and plz follow me

Glee!

Glee this week was awsome i loved the original compositions. i wish rachel wasnt the only one to sing a solo. i get that she had to do her special song for Finn but the second song could have been done by mercedes or santana. oh and Kurt got a boy-friend i think thats nice he has finally had his gay experience i think its sweet even though my mom thought it was quote "way to much". and it was so sad when the bird just killed over and died while kurt was whistling with it, sniff *tear* anyway any body out there what did u think?

Go around the music wheel

i do like the typical black people music, r&b hip hop rap, music along those lines but lately i have been listening to some country music and i have to say that it is pretty good. i am not listening to the overly country banjo slap your knee type but the songs that have a story behind them. i have also been listening to jazz and the blues and its been good there is alot of power in music. and i know for a couple of people like me music is the way we express ourselves by singing or dancing to the beat music is a big part of our every day lives. and now that i think about it we do kinda have to be careful what we listen to so we dont end up depressed listening to a depressing song. so people out there what kind of music do u listen to?

Disaster in Japan

On Friday an 8.9 scale earthquake shook japan to its chore, following that a tsunami hit causing multiple deaths and devastating damage to home and farm areas. That earthquake has gone down in history as one of the fifth largest the world has ever had. Geologists say that the island of Japan shifted 8ft and that the earths axis was moved 2.5 ft,  now that  is scary. The prime minister of Japan says that they have not experienced this much devastation since WW2. The biggest question on everyone's mind is will Japan survive this endeavor and will more disaster strike as there government is put to the test. My prayers go out to all the children and families that are going through this difficult time, I hope yours will too.

With all this said, with all these natural disasters that cause man-made disasters, should we stop drilling oil and stop nuclear activity. the reason i say this is because in Japan once the tsunami hit the nuclear power plant there was damaged and there was a possibility of a meltdown. A lot more people had to evacuate there homes. and my mom and i were talking about the Exxon Valdez oil spill that happened in Alaska. that oil spill destroyed a lot of homes for a lot of animals and thousands of sea animals and sea birds died. and also the most resent oil spill that happened in the Gulf of Mexico that effected wildlife in Florida. that spill also affected the lively hood of hundreds of fisherman who depended of the well being of the ocean. and after all this we still continue to drill for oil. now i know that we depend on oil for almost everything but we also have technology we could stop if we wanted to. there are several alternative forms of fuel and there are more to come. so i am asking u what do u think should we stop drilling?

IT'S HERE THE iPAD 2 IS HERE

Finally the long anticipated extremely high tech awesome of awesome ipad 2 comes out today. I bet the apple store lines will reach out the doors of the mall. I really hope i can get one if not today eventually. The ipad 2 is said to have all the functions the mac and plus more; face time, garage band, photo both and over 100,000 apps. My favorite new feature of the ipad 2 is the smart cover. The smart cover is attached by magnets to the side of the ipad and when it is covering the screen the ipad automatically goes to sleep and wakes up when the cover is removed. The smart cover can also act as a typing stand and review stand, i just think that's awesome. What do u think of the ipad 2

Fat Head

today i watched fat head. a documentary about super size me another documentary. fat head was created directed and acted by a comedian who thought that super size me was a bunch of "baloney". it was interesting to see his take on the subject of fast food causing an obesity epidemic that he says isnt really there. for 28 day this man went on a diet of fast food (mostly McDonalds) and lost 17 pounds. now i havent seen super size me but from what was said in this film it was indeed a load of "baloney". there was a lot of facts about all these hypothisis that have been made true by the government, organizations and our generation. it was indeed eye opening and i garantee u if u look at this movie u will feel a lot better about eating that cheese burger and fries. i'd give it 41/2 stars

We're old enough to babysit ourselves

i am home schooled and i know that may sound like  i am a unsocial freak but i just started home schooling this year so its pretty new to me. my plan is to get my GED before the year ends so that i can start college core classes, get ahead of the game, start lookin at what i want to be in life and what i can accomplish now while i have plenty of time. i have a new opinion on school now, especially high school and middle school. now asuming everyone went to K-4 grade u know ur abc's and 123's,  thats what u need to know and from there u can learn anything. so why in high school do we start learning everything over again just with bigger numbers and longer words. why not learn things that will benifit us and teach us more about what we want to learn. i am not saying that u should know what u want to be when u grow-up as soon as u get out on Pre-k but what u enjoy doing. say if u loved to build  with blocks or legos or whatever than u could take classes that would help u become better in that field, u wouldnt need to know why George Washington cut down a cherry tree, unless u wanted to know more about cherry tree wood. u may need to know some math for measurments and other stuff i couldnt begin to understand but not a whole lot of history. so exactly what does that make high school and the end of middle school........? a place to keep kids so we dont violate child labor laws. Public school is a free babysitting service and private school is one u have to pay through the nose for just to wear a uniform and act all posh (no offense) i mean dont get me wrong private school food is a lot better than public school food but there are not a whole lot of differences between the two unless u factor in religion. But in my point of view a lot of kids today in high school have a lot of creativity and potential but it is being beat out of them with all these rules and regulations. they r teaching us how to work for the man and never be the man. now not everybody can be home schooled it takes special people to deal with us kids but dont loose your creative edge do all u can at this day and age to be more than another zombie walking up and down the halls of your local high school. Travel abroad, think about what your  goals are, and what it takes to reach them. tell me what u think about the school system. 

Favorite Show

Personally my favorite show is Grey's Anatomy. I like Private Practice and wipe out too. Wipe-out is hilarious i love the second elimination round with the sweeper. The thing that makes this show so great is that people get hurt and i get to laugh and they dont hear. Whats your favorite show and what makes it great?

The Beginning
